Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Product I purchased this item from Amazon several weeks ago. It has easy to install and have been a useful aid for carrying the heavy Military/Marine's that I own. Well worth the money.

Can you please tell me how long this strap is? It seems to look short in the picture compared to what came in the box with the model 575 binoculars I purchased. Is it long enough to be worn around the neck?

Asked by: OneR
They can certainly be worn around the neck, the strap appears short because the yellow portion is quite thick, so as to float the weight of the binoculars

Your good folks at your US repair facility supplied me with an older floating strap for my Commander Pilot 7x50s. The buckle is fixed to the strap. How do I attach the strap to the binocular so that it doesn't slip off. Appears to be older.

What is the maximum equipment weight ( binoculars, stills/video camera) that will float in sea water with this device?

Asked by: JohnPeter
The Steiner float strap is designed to float *only* the weight of the Steiner Marine series of Binoculars - the heaviest of which is 42 oz
