Predator 10x42 LRF is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Thrilled with the purchase I have been waiting for about a year to find something affordable, that I thought looked nice. Luckily I stumbled upon these at the right price. I am more than thrilled with the quality. The binoculars are sleek, not bulky, a fair weight, nice to grip, and very comfortable to use. The glass is extremely clear and work well in low light. The rubber on the eyes is very soft and comfortable. The rangefinder works great. I was afraid the illumination would be too much, but the power settings allowed my to dim it to my liking. It ranges fast and accurate and has been extremely consistent. I have used it through a fence and trees and was able to get a good, consistent reading every time. Focus is easy enough that I could use it with just one hand. If you can pick these up at the right price, I think they are probably the best in their class. I have compared them to the Vortex lineup and would stick with these every time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Clear and Bright with reliable rangefinding I purchased these binoculars earlier this year for a muzzleloader elk hunt I had this December. What a fantastic pair of binoculars! The optics were clear and bright and easy to focus. The rangefinding feature worked flawlessly. I used these binoculars to spot elk up to 2.5 km away. The rangefinding feature helped me measure my progress while stalking quarry. Because I was hunting with a muzzleloader in the western US, I had to use open sights. The bullet trajectory and drop for the muzzleloader required an accurate distance measurement to determine when I was within range, and to determine the amount of bullet drop to the target. These binoculars did an excellent job! Additionally, the lens caps were excellent -- they were attached to the binoculars ensuring that they won't get lost. I highly recommend these binoculars for your next hunt.

how well does the rangefinder in the lrf binoculars work when hunting in the woods? Does a lot of trees interfere with the rang finding capabilities? Thanks.

Asked by: vahunter
They'll be the same as any other LRF, an obstruction will block the beam.

I am puzzled by how to attach the included neck strap to the binoculars. The small clips do not seem to fit the brackets on the binoculars

I am trying to understand the large price difference between the Predator 10 x 42 and Predator 10 x 42 LRF. Why would the LRF add so much to the price?
