Have Steiner Wildlife XP 8x44 and am hoping to apply an adapter to fit onto a tripod. Removal dust cover at rear hinge where some binocs have a threaded barrel which can support a tripod adaptor. Do threads exist behind the plate here? Thoughts? Ideas?

Asked by: Brett58
These are not tripod adaptable.

I just purchased a pair of 8x44 Wildlife XP's and I love them. My binoculars do not indicate "Steiner Germany" on the right side of the rear bridge in comparison to the product photos on the website. Were some of these not manufactured in Germany?
