HX 15x56 is rated 4.9 out of 5 by 9.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from HX 15x56 These are the second pair of Steiner binoculars i own. First pair i bought was the C5 predator 12x42 and i still have them and they are great. I am getting older and was wanting a stronger pair and the HX 15x56 are awesome. They are very crisp, clear. Looking long distance is unbelievable. They are heavier than most but are well made, Glad i got them. They are priced right also.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Steiner HX 15x56 The hx is a good binocular. I do think it could have a little better image quality for the price. But it does produce a good image and it is built well. I also wish steiner wasn't so vague with there optical system and type of glass they use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Deer hunting Although I’ve not hunted with them yet, they seem very clear with the viewing I’ve done with them. My one concern is of the eye cup pivots when you adjust it to your eye and may not be exactly on the side. They seem very strong and sturdy. I plan begin using them in the Fall and I can get a better feel for how they will hold up in the elements. I’m thinking they will be fine. We have a set of 8x42 which are fantastic.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Binos - Great Glass! For the price point I don't think you can beat the Steiner HX 15x56. I absolutely love these Steiners, these are my go to now. I thought they're pricing was too good to be true, but these are tremendous, reliable binos and a decent weight!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Steiner HX 15x56 These 15x binos gave me the ability to look deep into the brush during my mule deer hunt. The extra bit of weight was worth it! My hunting buddies are now sold on larger glass when trying to count antlers, etc. I've always been a fan of Steiner. Rock solid.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from PRS Binoculars I bought these to replace a different brand that I had used for years in PRS. So glad I got these, the glass is so clear, no questions about impacts on even the farthest targets. Steiner is quickly taking up more space in my safe.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really great optic well designed. I use them for spotting targets at matches and deer hunting this fall. Very happy with these binoculars pair very well with my 8x42s.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One of the best! Definitely ALPHA glass. Compare against Zeiss/Swaro. I review bino's and currently have my Zeiss Conquest 15x56's to compare these too. However, I also recently sold my Leupold bx5 15x56's and Maven 18x56's. So, I've had some time with all of these beasts, including the Swaro SLC 15x56 which are supposed to be the best. I've used them in the mountains, desert, on beaches, for night viewing, wildlife viewing and photography, in the cold and heat. I really like Meopta's - they are some of the best for the price and what they deliver. However, I have a new go to bino and it is these - the Steiner HX 15x56's. Side-by-side, they are just as good as Zeiss and Swaro. Maven has better light gathering than either Zeiss or Swaro, but these are just as good. Zeiss has a different color hue, sort of a bluish, but these are whiter. Crisp, clear, excellent light gathering, easy to hold, in fact, one of the best grips out there. A complete package, as they come with a nice strap and covers. I wasn't sure about the large eye cups, but they can be folded down to normal size if you prefer and personally, I have found they block a lot of unnecessary light. I like them, most of the time. For quick viewing, put them down. Smooth focusing. Easy sight acquisition. One of the best depth of field - similar in all ways to Zeiss and Swaro, which has one of the best. For the price, you will not find any better glass. For alpha glass, nothing lighter and easier to handle, other than possibly the Zeiss, which is another area where Zeiss shines - light-weight. Absolutely love my Steiners. These will be my go to glass from now on. My only regret, I wish I would have found them sooner. I had seen them, but thought they're pricing was a gimmick, too good to be true. I was wrong on every bad assumption and will promote these over the other alpha's from now on.
