Peregrine 10x42

The Birder's Binocular

Hover to Zoom

Finding, following and identifying requires a specialized balance of power, clarity, color and comfort. Here it is.

Higher 10x magnification reveals greater long-distance de-tail, making it ideal for viewing far-off subjects like raptors, waterfowl and wildlife, especially in open country.

Phase coated high-contrast optics provide bright, true color, sharp 3D images, and exceptionally fine detail for positive identification.

Distance Control System lets you pre-set focus at a known distance, for a fast, clear view you can fine-tune with a quick wheel turn.

Fast-Close Focus delivers a razor-sharp image as close as 2 yards, letting you use a single optic for clear viewing at virtually any distance.

I bought a peregrine 10x42 about 14 or so years ago.  It’s a top-notch optic.  I’m going on an extended kayak trip on saltwater.  I know you offer marine binoculars, but will my peregrine stand up to the saltwater?

Asked by: Flyfisher
Hello, We would not recommend exposing them to saltwater if you can help it. You would likely be better with something designed for a Marine environment. The Marine, Navigator, or Commanders would be a much better option for a saltwater environment.

I am assuming that if you wear glasses the side projections can be removed. Am I correct?

Asked by: Grandma Kathy
The eyecups cannot be removed, but you can fold them down.
