Safari 10x26 is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good size I really like the small size. They are the perfect size for my travels. The eye covers do not fit. They just fall off. It epuld be nice to have lense covers.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful toy It's relatively expensive (4-6x the price of the standard "designed in America / assembled in China" binocular. But the difference in quality is huge: fine building, better handling, comfortable eye cups and the image quality is very good (basically is the exact same thing you see with your own eyes, but amplified. This binocular has much more clarity and sharp images) - the lens are good quality so the image doesn't get distorted/blurry/darkened/foggy. Good stuff.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Steiner Safari 10x26 Ultrasharp Bought for me by my daughter for Christmas quite a few years back and still as good as the day I got them. I have used friends Swarovski and Nikon and found them lacking when used as a like for like comparison. In fact the only point that they do outweigh my Safari is price. Don’t get fooled into thinking higher price means a better product.

The Safari binoculars are a roof prism. The Ultrasharp will have a higher grade of glass.

Which has better image quality, these Safari 10x26, or the Predator 10x26?

Asked by: Charles001974
They will be about equal in brightness and clarity, however the differences are in the lens coatings. The Predators have the CAT coating on the lenses helping game pop out from foliage.

I have a Safari 10x26 - purchased some time ago - Serial Number 0553228042.  The right hinge has loosened sufficiently as to fold down under it's own weight.  Is there any simple way to tighten this hinge?

Asked by: Barrywbg
If you don't see a spot to fit a tool to tighten it, they might require in-house repairs. For that, here is the link to get started:
