Predator 4 4-16x50 is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 18.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Scope for the Price I have owned a lot of scopes ranging from $400 to $2000 and the Steiner predator is the best bang for the buck scope I have ever purchased IMO. I owned a Steiner GS3 3-15x50 which was quite a bit more expensive. What Steiner has done with the Predator 4 is created a better scope than the GS3 (light weight, as good optically, more features) for fewer dollars. I was looking for an illuminated S1 reticle so when they added the E3 (same as S1) to the Predator 4, I was in. I have compared my Predator 4 4-16x50 to my Z3 with 50 mm objective and my Zeiss V4 and the Predator 4 wins hands down for low light transmission and is equal in clarity. If you want a better scope, simply pay a lot more :)

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Only for hunting. parallax works well. optics are clean. at the maximum resolution, the image is blurry and not clear - a real clear image within x10-12 but not more. The illumination works well, but the adjustment is a little strange - it's not clear when there is no work. zero or off illumination is not indicated by anything. 2 metal balls were fixed on the parallax setting - after the first day of use, one fell out. why they were made - I still do not understand if it was possible to make an ebb for the place of the balls - it is easier, more reliable, more convenient. this scope is for hunting only! it is not suitable for high-precision shooting due to the low number of corrections. MOA is comfortable and easy to read. works well in the twilight - there is enough enlightenment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent hunting scope I have spent the last couple months behind the Predator 4 4-16x, and I couldn’t be more pleased with my purchase. Glass clarity is excellent for an optic in this price class. The E3 reticle is a simple and efficient, and the illumination is more than satisfactory. Overall, this is an excellent choice of hunting scope for the hunter that wants to quickly acquire his target and confidently fill a tag. Steiner has excellent products, and I look forward to purchasing more this year.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent performance so far! I would have preferred MRAD marked turrets to the MOA but since this is on a hunting carbine with capped turrets I won't be dialing for POI. I would have liked a choice and that's why I only gave four stars. The lower vertical crosshair has three horizontal markings that can be used as additional points of aim. I mounted this scope on an AR-15 upper barreled with a 20" 6.5 Grendel. With a 100 yard zero the horizontal lines give me 185, 285, & 370 yards respectfully. I must mention that I have two Stiener Military 1-5X-23 and the reticle in those scopes give me consistent hits from 100-600 yards with a 100 yd zero without touching the turret. I just use the BDC reticle when using 60 gr. V-Max loaded 223 Remington. I haven't used this scope in the field yet but a couple of range sessions up to 500 yards has instilled confidence with this Upper. Based on the performance of my other Steiner scopes I'll bet on the durability of this scope. The glass is as clear as you can use, if you can't see it through this scope then it is probably past legal hunting hours in most States.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth every penny! I've recently purchased this scope and am amazed at the charity and brightness at low light. I had no issues with focusing for my eye. Its sitting on Steiner medium rings mounted to a Savage 93 17HMR.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Scope paired up well with my new Benello Lupo 30-06. My son and I got our first mule deer buck with this combo. The glass is nice and clear and didn't fog up during 2nd season in Colorado.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My new favorite scope! Extremely clear glass and the illuminated reticle is awesome! It’s light and not bulky; looking forward to hunting with this scope. Highly recommend! FYI it’ll show up as a Burris shipment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great clarity and low light performance! Sighted in on a 7mm magnum and after a quick bore sight it dialed right in and held zero after 20 rounds. Low light testing was right up to shooting light and maybe even a little past.
