Safari Ultrasharp 10x26 is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 11.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great size My first pair of Steiner binoculars. Quality is as advertised in glass, clarity, edge to edge sharpness. Eye cups do not impress me though. They rotate too easily moving out of position constantly and the provided case bends the high end inwards.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A Good Binocular for Walking Around I bought the Safari Ultrasharp 10 x 26 for when I walk around and it would be nice to have a set of binoculars to look at birds, far off buildings, etc. and this binocular accomplishes that task very well. Two of the main considerations were size and weight. The 10 x 26 is not as compact as some compact binoculars but the extra size makes them easier to hold in my hands (and I have small hands). They are not the lightest compart binocular weighing in at 10.5 ounces or roughly 0.7 pounds, but I don’t do long walks so the weight is acceptable. The optics have good sharpness and contrast. The eye relief is shallow, 13.26 mm. I wear eyeglasses for reading and generally for me longer eye relief is better. However, with a little practice, I was able to orient properly to my eyes to get a full image circle. My 10 x 26 came without objective or eyepiece covers but that’s a minor concern as they binoculars spend most of their time in the case. For the level of quality and craftsmanship, the price is very good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Steiner Safari Ultrasharp 10X50 First day out with the Steiner Safari Ultrasharp 10X50 I was able to identify a Black Vulture in flight over 6000 meters away circling over a road kill that I absolutely could not see without the Ultrasharp 10X50. I plan on taking these with me on every trip outdoors adventure from now on. Thanks Steiner!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not the best for Safari If you are using this product to view stationary things, the clarity is great. However, using them on a safari which can be quick moving, they are very difficult to stabilize quickly & therefore not the best.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from First Pair I wanted something to carry in my vehicle just for a quick look at things and these 7x30 perma focus appear to fill that need. Haven't had them long enough for a more detailed comment.

Can you please tell me the level of waterproof protection the Safari UltraSharp 10 x 26 has on the JIS Class system? Many thanks.

Asked by: Eric 55
I do not have JIS standards readily available, but they would fall somewhere between levels 2 and 6.
